Last week, I unveiled the first peek at my Han Solo adventure game as a clip for Star Wars Uncut, a fan project which featured the entire movie chopped up into 15-second segments and invited people to create their own unique clips, which will presumably culminate into a complete, unique version of the original Star Wars that changes completely every 15 seconds.  (I would love to watch this at the Alamo Draft House with a bucket of beer, but I digress)…

So far, I’ve received a ton of awesome feedback on my clip here on the original Vimeo page, which has me very psyched. It’s been just under a week, and it’s already racked up nearly a thousand views.  When you’re doing a little hobby project like this in your spare time, there’s nothing like random love for adventure games and awesome SCUMM references to charge your batteries!  Thanks to everyone who’s checked it out, and welcome to the new website.

By the way, SURPRISE!  It’s not just a video!  Oh yes, it is a fully functioning game that will be available for download as soon as I can get it finished.  The game will differ from the video in a few ways, namely it will not feature voice acting (text based only), and it will not be quite so tongue-in-cheek. I mean, most LucasArts games were funny to a point, but you can expect a relatively mature style along the lines of Fate of Atlantis and Full Throttle (maybe not quite as serious as The Dig… although I do LOVE The Dig)…

I can’t wait to upload it so the world can check it out.  I can’t wait to play it myself, for that matter.  Playing a Han Solo adventure game has been a dream of mine for too long to admit, so I’m psyched!  I hope you guys are too!
