  5. This project of yours is quite incredible. I can’t wait for the finished game.

As a side note; I am fluid in german and english, and I’d very much would like to help translate this game into german. Admittedly, I haven’t seen StarWars in german in years but I digress. Drop me a line, if you’re interested in some help.

  11. Yes, puzzles are important! It’s easy to get carried away with these things and just have fun making the little guy walk around and talk to people, but it’s important to remember that difficult puzzles are what made these games great, and I am committed to making a “real” adventure game out of this, which means lots of puzzles to solve. Thanks!

  13. This is great! I’m with you on waiting so long for a Star Wars adventure game. There’s just one thing I thought I’d mention. The mix of photographs and pixel characters doesn’t really mesh well. If you could/plan to pixelate them in the future then that’d be fantastic. =D

  15. Thanks Tobar! I’ve heard this comment before, and actually, I assure you the graphics are much more pixelated than they appear. These screen caps were taken at 4x size and then shrunken down and interpolated, so it may be a little misleading. What they would need to truly complete the SCUMM look would be to basically hand draw pixel art over the images. I don’t have an art crew, so my time is precious on this. Plus, I really dig the look of it.

  17. Stacy, I can do the pixel artwork for you if you like. My time is somewhat precious, so I can’t be designing from scratch, if you can provide the finished screenshot (as above), I can go over the photos with a more pixelated feel very easily. Drop me a line if you’re interested to get me on board. Like you, I am an avid adventure gamer, especially from the likes of Monkey Island, Zak McKraken, Indiana Jones and Space Quest.
